Talked to a deli worker about day-old bread and it saved me 12 bucks
I was grabbing a sub last Tuesday and the guy behind the counter mentioned they mark down loaves by half after 5 PM. He said most people never ask so they end up throwing them out. Has anyone else gotten discounts just by asking at the right time?
