Fridge caught fire mid-service on Friday night
I was in the middle of a 40-cover dinner service at The Rusty Spoon in Austin when my reach-in cooler just started smoking from the compressor. Had to toss $200 worth of prep work and run across the street to borrow space at a neighbor's walk-in. Anyone else ever had a major appliance go down right during the rush and how did you handle the chaos?

That "lost $200 in prep" part really hit home since my ice machine died during a Friday brunch rush last month.
