My electric bill last month was $12... that can't be right.
I got my bill for July and just stared at it. I live in a small house in Eugene and my bill is usually around $70 in the summer with the AC. I put in solar panels last fall, but I figured they'd just cut the cost a bit. Hitting a number that low, with the heat we had, really made it click for me. The panels actually did the work I hoped they would. Has anyone else with solar had a bill that low, or did I just get lucky with the weather?

Fiona might be right about billing errors, but your solar setup is the real story. My neighbor in Springfield saw his July bill drop to $18 after his panels were installed. The key was that week of solid sun we had in the middle of the month, it probably let your system bank a ton of credit.
