TIL skipping the dryer on my laundry cut my power bill by $14 last month
I kept putting off a fix for my old dryer because the vent hose was crushed behind the unit, so one Sunday I just hung everything on a rack in the spare room instead. My next bill in Tucson came in $14 lower than the same month last year, and the clothes actually lasted longer without all that heat beating them up. I hung about 5 loads a week for 6 weeks to see if it held up. Now I'm wondering if a cheap indoor line would work even in summer, has anyone in a humid place had luck with that?
