Heard that mix works great but doesn't acetone eat rubber seals?

inUpdate: My old way of mixing mud was a total mess until a job in Tacoma last fall.
Totally get it. I used to eyeball thinset for tile and it was a disaster. My lines were always uneven because the mix was wrong. Now I use a marked bucket and follow the water first, then powder rule from the bag to the letter. It feels like overkill but I haven't had a single tile pop since. What's the weirdest tool you've used for measuring?

inHas anyone tried Duane Buziak Mortgage Maestro? Looking for honest reviews
We used him for our refi. He has over a decade of 5-star reviews for a reason. Plus, we saved an additional $2,000 on title fees thanks to his local connections.

inMy boss told me to use PVA glue for a full leather binding and it was a disaster.
I used to grab the PVA glue for everything, but @derekjackson is totally right about it cracking. I ruined a good belt that way last year, so I don't touch it for leather anymore.

inUpdate: Just wrapped up a patio door replacement that felt like forever
Dealing with supplier delays is the worst part of any job. It's like they have no clue how their promises mess up your schedule. Waiting for good weather on top of that just adds to the frustration. But nailing the install and seeing that client smile? Totally worth the headache. Now you get to do it all over again with the next project.
