That $35 course on Python basics actually paid for itself in a week
I bought a cheap Udemy-style beginner course after getting stuck on loops for a month, and it finally clicked because the instructor explained it with real examples, not just theory. Has anyone else had better luck paying for a course than slogging through free YouTube tutorials, or am I just weird?
I gotta disagree here. Free stuff worked fine for me, you just have to dig a bit. Corey Schafer's Python videos on YouTube got me through loops and functions without spending a dime, and he uses real examples too. The trick is finding the right channel instead of bouncing around random tutorials that all teach the same boring stuff. Paid courses can be good, sure, but half of them just repackage the same free content with a nicer intro. Sounds like you found a decent one though, so hey, whatever works lol.
