Picked the New 52 run over the original Wolfman/Perez Teen Titans

I finally caved and started reading comics on my lunch breaks, and I had to choose between two big Teen Titans collections at my local shop. The classic run is legendary, but the New 52 art caught my eye and the clerk said it was more beginner-friendly. Honestly, the first arc was a bit messy with all the timeline jumps, but the redesign of Tim Drake is actually kinda growing on me. Anyone else have a tough time picking between an older classic series and a modern reboot?

New 52 was just DC's way of selling us the same stories with better haircuts.

Respectfully, New 52 had better pacing and actually made the team feel fresh again.
