A client in Denver pointed out my cable ties were too tight

I was finishing a desktop build for a regular customer last Tuesday. He watched me zip tie the PSU cables and said, 'Those look like they're squeezing the life out of the wires.' I realized I'd been cranking them down for a clean look without thinking about future service. Now I leave a finger's width of slack before the click. Anyone else adjust their cable management after getting called out?

It's just a zip tie, not a heart monitor lead. A little tightness isn't going to hurt modern cables. People get way too precious about this stuff.
