Just read that 70% of data loss is from human error, not hardware failure
I found that stat in an old tech blog while looking up backup solutions for a small office job. It made me rethink how much time we spend on drive tests versus user training. Do you think we should focus more on teaching clients, or is that not our job?

Yeah, that stat lines up with what I've seen on site. We started building a basic "save to the right place" training into our onboarding for new office clients. Just a 15 minute walkthrough that shows where the server drive is versus local folders. It cut down on "lost file" tickets by a lot in my experience.

My old office had a shared folder called "The Void" for misplaced files.
