Appreciation post: My friend's 'deep dive' on the Denver airport murals vs my quick fact check

My buddy spent like 3 hours on a video about the Denver airport murals, saying the blue horse statue is a coded message. I just pulled up the artist's actual website and read her statement in 5 minutes. She said the horse, named 'Blucifer', is about the wild spirit of the West, not some secret society. The difference was trusting a random video versus going straight to the source. Anyone else have a friend who falls for the wildest YouTube 'research'?

Watched a whole documentary on Stonehenge once. My history professor shut it down with one old tax record.

Feel for you. I got way too into the idea of ancient aliens moving the pyramids as a kid. Then I saw a show where they just had a bunch of guys hauling stones on wet sand. It was so boring it felt like a personal insult. Drewjenkins' tax record thing is the worst, it's always some boring paperwork that wrecks the fun story.
