Had a guy at the coffee shop in Tacoma last week try to convince me the moon landing was faked because of 'the flag waving.'

Phoenix79 makes a good point about the pole setup. But if the flag was held out by a rod and just being twisted into the dirt, wouldn't that movement look really stiff and mechanical? The video seems to show a looser, flapping motion. What explains that difference?

That flag thing is the weakest argument. It was a rigid pole with a horizontal rod to hold it out, and they twisted it into the ground. The movement was from them messing with it, not wind. People just don't know how it was built. It's basic stuff you can look up. The fact that this still comes up in a coffee shop is just sad.
