Showerthought: My phone listening in on private talks
In my experience, I mentioned wanting a pizza near my phone, and ads popped up later. Your mileage may vary, but it happened to me twice last month. Take this with a grain of salt, but it makes me wonder about microphone access. Now I'm curious if this is just coincidence or something more. It's a common debate in conspiracy circles, from what I've seen.

How long after talking about it did the ads show up... was it like the same hour or the next day? I always check my app permissions now and it's scary how many have mic access for no clear reason. Maybe try turning off the mic for everything except calls and see if it stops.

Used to think it was just paranoia, right? Then my buddy had the same pizza ad thing happen right after we talked about it.
