Remember when we used freehand feathering on every layered cut?

Back in 2010 I was in Salem doing razor cuts with freehand feathering on every layered bob, took forever but clients loved that soft texture. Now I switched to point cutting with shears for most layered cuts after a mentor showed me it saves 15 minutes per head and still gives that lived-in look. Anyone else dump their old techniques for something faster but still get good results?

Started doing my feathering with a straight razor lately. Way faster and gives a softer edge than shears ever did.

Respect the blade angle and you're golden man, shears collect dust now lol.
