inJust got back from Franklin's in Austin and I'm not sure I get the hype
okay but honestly i think you just got unlucky. ive been to franklins maybe 5 times and every time the brisket was legit perfect all the way through, like melt in your mouth tender not dry at all. the wait is definitely a pain but thats part of the whole experience tbh, its like a barbecue pilgrimage. and comparing it to a random trailer in lockhart is kinda unfair, franklins is on another level with consistency and that peppery bark.

inSpent $600 on a home inspection that missed a major plumbing issue
The "$600" line jumped out at me. That's suspiciously cheap for a proper home inspection in Hamilton these days. Maybe he wasn't actually insured or bonded if he's charging that little.

inCounting my feeders hit 50 birds in one hour last Saturday
Oh yeah so I started doing that a couple years ago when I got a new feeder setup and I was curious if it was making a difference. I did it for a whole week straight and the numbers were all over the place. Some days I'd get like 30 birds in an hour and then the next day it'd be 10. I also started noticing how the time of day matters way more than I thought. Like midmorning is busy but late afternoon it totally dies off until just before sunset when the doves show up. Made me realize I was basically only looking out the window during the slowest times.

inSaw a new facial machine at the spa in Sedona and I'm curious about it
Bet @the_tara beat me to the wavelength point. Most blue light in these spa gizmos is 415nm which is antibacterial, not calming. The LumiGlow Pro probably just uses a weaker pulse or lower intensity to make it feel gentler on red skin. I'd want to see the actual specs before buying into that hype.

inJust walked a new construction site in Phoenix that had me worried
Nah, that still sounds sketchy to me.
