I used a password manager for 6 years then switched back to a paper notebook and I sleep better
Two years ago I had 214 passwords in a manager and I still felt nervous every time I got a login alert from some random site. Then in March I moved everything to a cheap pocket notebook I got at a Walgreens in Denver, and I write each password in pencil so I can change it. My threat model is a guy breaking into my apartment, not a nation state, and nobody is guessing a 14 character random string I keep in a drawer. Has anyone else gone low tech like this or am I the only one?
