Password manager skepticism finally went away after my email got hit
Honestly, I was one of those people who thought password managers were just another thing to get hacked. Kept using the same password for everything because it was easier. Then last month my work email got compromised through a data breach on some random forum I'd signed up for years ago. Took me three days to reset 40 accounts. My buddy at IT help desk showed me how Bitwarden works for free and I finally caved. Set it up last week and it's already saved me from reusing passwords on five sites. Has anyone else had a similar wake-up call about these?

Hey man, going through that same mess is what finally got me to switch too. Bitwarden was also my pick after trying a couple others, mostly because the free version actually does everything I need without trying to upsell me. The biggest thing for me was how much easier it made logging into stuff on my phone with autofill, so I don't even have to think about it anymore. Really kicked myself for not doing it sooner after seeing how simple the setup actually was.

Seems like most people go through that same cycle before they actually make the switch. I've noticed it with plenty of other things too like switching banks or changing phone carriers. Everyone puts it off because they think it'll be a pain, then when they finally do it they wonder what took so long. The autofill thing is huge for me too @jakewilliams. It's one of those small changes that adds up to way less frustration every single day.
