Shoutout to the Firefox padlock icon for saving me from a fake Amazon login page
Got a text last Tuesday saying my package was held at a warehouse in Reno and I almost typed my password into a page with no padlock before I caught it. Chrome had buried the warning in a menu while Firefox put a big red slash right on the address bar, same scam site, two very different gut checks.
Wait, Chrome actually hid the warning in a menu while Firefox slapped a big red slash right on the bar? That's wild, same scam page and two totally different gut checks is kind of scary when you think about it. Guess I'm sticking with Firefox for anything money related from now on.
