My coffee maker turned into a fountain yesterday morning
I poured water into my trusty Mr. Coffee like I've done a thousand times but forgot to put the carafe back in place. Water shot out everywhere onto the counter, dripped down the cabinets, and pooled on the floor in about 3 seconds flat. I stood there in my socks watching it happen like a total goofball for a solid 5 seconds before my brain kicked in. Has anyone else had a morning where your own kitchen appliances just decide to betray you out of nowhere?

30 seconds of my life gone just standing there watching my morning caffeine supply flood the floor before I even had coffee to wake me up. At least my socks got a free rinse.

Man I felt that one @dakotab13! Next time try keeping an extra bag of grounds in the freezer so you're not caught off guard. Saved me more than a few mornings, trust me.
