I'm considering getting a tuner for my 6.7 Powerstroke and I'm torn between 5 Star Tuning and Bully Dog. I've heard good things about both, but I'm not sure which one offers better custom tunes and support. I'm mainly looking for improved fuel economy and a bit more power for towing my fifth wheel. Any recommendations?

Log InI had a Bully Dog GT on my old truck and it was fine, but when I got my newer Powerstroke I went with 5 Star. The difference is huge. The Bully Dog felt like it just added fuel, but 5 Star's tune actually improved drivability and throttle response. Plus their support team is super helpful if you have any questions.
Bully Dog is okay if you want something simple and cheap, but their tunes are pretty generic. 5 Star Tuning is on another level, especially for diesels. They'll actually customize the tune based on your exact truck and mods. The MPG gains are real and the power is smooth. I've been running their tow tune for over a year now.
