My coworking space had a chicken thief and I almost got blamed

Was in Chiang Mai last month working from this cute cafe with a garden area. Around 2pm this stray rooster ran in and stole my pad thai right off the table, then sprinted past a group of tourists. The owner came out yelling and I had to convince her I didn't bring the bird inside, she thought I was doing a bit for content. Paid for a new meal and now I always check for poultry before sitting down. Has anyone else had animals mess with their work setup abroad?
