Shoutout to the hostel in Chiang Mai that made me rethink my whole work setup
I was trying to join a video call from a bunk bed last month when the wifi dropped for the tenth time. The manager saw me, pulled me aside, and told me to just use their private office in the back for free. Now I always ask about backup workspaces before I book a place. What's the one thing you check for in a spot before you decide to stay and work there?

Checking the wifi is a thing, sure. But it's a bunk bed, not a satellite office.

Satellite office" is a perfect way to put it, @the_shane. My wifi drops out if I look at my router wrong. Feel your pain.
