Just realized curb cuts help way more people than just wheelchair users after watching a dad with a stroller and a delivery guy both use the same one in 5 minutes
Seeing that at the corner of 5th and Main in Seattle made me rethink how universal design actually works for everyone, has anyone else noticed this where you live?

Honestly that "dad with a stroller" part hit me hard because last week I tripped on a curb trying to catch the bus and ended up faceplanting on the sidewalk. Ngl, I never really thought about curb cuts until I watched my neighbor's kid zoom his little bike over one like it was a mini ramp. Tbh, universal design is basically just good design that helps everyone not look clumsy. I swear those little ramps save me from my own two left feet every time I'm carrying groceries or walking and texting.
