Wasted $300 on a fancy wheelchair cushion that did nothing for my pressure sores

I bought this high-end air cushion online last month thinking it would solve my sitting pain. After three days of trying different settings, my butt was still sore and I got a new pressure mark. Turns out a simple foam wedge from my local medical supply store for $40 works way better for me. Has anyone else found that expensive gear sometimes just isnt the fix?

Three years ago I spent $200 on a special memory foam cushion that went flat in two months. My cheap Walmart pillow works ten times better for my tailbone pain. Sometimes simple and cheap wins over fancy and expensive.

Ha! I fell for a $150 "ergonomic" seat cushion that was dead in a month too.
