Finally got my shifting SMOOTH after 2 months of messing with barrel adjusters
I've been fighting with my rear derailleur since March. It would skip on the 3 smallest cogs no matter how I turned that little barrel knob. Last weekend I actually took the time to set the B-tension screw properly for the first time. I used the Park Tool video on YouTube and measured the gap between the top pulley and the biggest cog. After that I indexed from scratch and it shifted perfect on my test ride around the block. Anyone else skip the B-screw adjustment and regret it later?

My buddy Dave spent an entire season blaming his shift cable before realizing his B-screw was way off.

Is "way off" really a season-long problem though?
