Tired of everyone acting like giant sunflowers are the peak of weird garden stuff

I keep seeing posts about those 12 foot sunflowers like they invented bizarre gardening. I grew a carrot last year that looked exactly like a human hand with six fingers. That's way weirder than a tall flower. Why does size count more than actual shape distortion in this group? Am I the only one who thinks a mutant root vegetable beats a tall stalk any day?

Man, you know what's really underrated in the weird garden world? Those tomatoes that grow with a little face on them. I had one last summer that legit looked like it was frowning at me, stuck it on my desk for a week. Sunflowers are just tall, big deal.

Last year I would've said sunflowers were way more impressive, but then I found a bell pepper in my garden that looked EXACTLY like a grumpy old man and kept it on my windowsill for two months. Something about those weird mutant veggies just hits different when you actually see one in person, makes you feel like the garden has a little personality. Now I'm totally on your side, give me the funny looking tomatoes over basic tall flowers any day.
