inMy uncle swore by a water quench for 5160 spring steel and I thought he was nuts
Man, I used to be all about the book until I saw that in action.

inAfter a decade of rough-in work, I finally saw the value of a clean panel
My last electrician said about 30% of his calls are fixing other people's messy panels. Does that kind of rework actually cost the homeowner more money later on?

inPro tip: don't trust the 'official' tour guide at a castle ruin
Oh man, that's the worst. I once corrected a guide on the height of a church spire, only to realize later I was mixing up feet and meters. I felt like such a tool. Good on you, @umaf20, for actually having your facts straight before speaking up. It's a weird spot, because you don't want to be that guy, but wrong info just sticks in people's heads. Makes you question everything you hear on those tours.

inSpent 4 hours trying to get a squirrel out of my chipper
Remember my buddy's cat got stuck inside the hollow frame of a recliner once. Had to take the whole thing apart with a socket set while this orange tabby just glared at us from between the springs. Took all afternoon. Makes your squirrel condo look pretty smart, @jenny_wright. At least yours just needed a snack and some patience.

inWhy does nobody talk about conspiracy videos vanishing so fast?
Honestly, what gets me is how fast it happens. I saw a thing a while back about how platforms have these automated systems that flag stuff. They just pull it down first and ask questions later, especially if it gets reported a bunch. Tbh it feels like some topics just get targeted more, like anything about voting or old political stuff. Makes you wonder what's actually against the rules and what's just inconvenient for someone.
