Warning: I switched from hot glue to contact cement on EVA foam and now I can't go back, but is it actually better?
For my first 3 helmets I used hot glue on every seam because it was $6 at Michaels and dried in seconds, then a guy at the Columbus prop meetup watched me glue a bicep piece and handed me a can of Barge cement with a quote of '$14 and some patience will save you a rebuild.' Half of me says contact cement is the only way for flex points while the other half misses not waiting 15 minutes per seam, so how do you all decide which joints get the good stuff and which get the glue gun?
