PSA: standing desks are a scam for anyone over 30 with a bad back

I spent $400 on a motorized frame after every build video swore by it, then three months of daily standing at a trade show in Denver had me popping ibuprofen like candy. My $60 used drafting table from an office liquidation is way kinder to my hips, and I can still adjust it with a wrench. Anyone else ditch the fancy risers for something simpler?
