Walked into a buddy's new office in Boise and saw his cable management setup from 2019 next to his current one

Went to visit a friend at his job last month and he showed me photos of his old desk from four years ago. It was a mess of wires everywhere. Now he's got everything routed through a track under the desk and a little J-channel on the wall. Cost him maybe $12 total from a local hardware store. It's crazy how a few simple plastic pieces can turn a rats nest into something you barely notice. Have you guys updated your cable game since the early days of just tucking everything behind the monitor?

Spent a whole afternoon last summer trying to fix my own desk at home and somehow ended up with a drill bit through my thumb instead. The cable track I bought was supposed to stick on with this heavy duty tape but it fell off after three days and took a chunk of paint with it. Ended up using those little stick on hooks from the dollar store and they've held up way better than the expensive stuff. Now I've got this weird mix of black and white hooks under my desk because I didn't check before buying. Its not pretty but at least I can find the charging cord for my tablet without playing tug of war with the other ones.
