Went from zip tying cables under my desk to using a $7 roll of velcro straps and I'm never going back
For two years I had every cable under my desk bunched up with black zip ties, and every time I swapped a keyboard or moved my monitor I had to cut them all off and start over. Last month I finally grabbed a $7 roll of velcro straps from the hardware store down the street and redid the whole thing in about 20 minutes. Now when I unplug my laptop dock I just peel the strap back, swap the cord, and wrap it up again, no scissors needed. The back of my desk still looks like a rat nest to be honest, but at least I can actually get in there when something stops working. Anyone got a trick for keeping the velcro from getting fuzzy and losing grip after a couple months?
