Showerthought: I swore I'd never use hot glue on a controller, then my bumper snapped mid ranked match
Last Saturday during a ranked match my LB bumper on my Series X pad cracked right at the hinge peg, and I had a tournament in 3 days with no spare paddle setup. I had always said hot glue was hack work, but I was stuck at 11pm with no epoxy, so I pressed the peg back in, hit it with a dab of hot glue and a zip tie wrap, and it has held for 40 hours of play since. Now I'm wondering if anyone has a fix that survives longer than a couple weeks, or should I just order a new bumper and stop being stubborn?
