That $140 silicone caulk gun was worth every penny, fight me
I redid my bathroom last month and bought one of those dripless rod-driven caulk guns from the hardware store. Regular ones always made a mess and left half the tube wasted, so I figured why not. That thing laid a perfect bead down the tub line first try, no air bubbles, no weird spurts. The trigger stops immediately when you release, which sounds dumb but saves you from those ooze piles in the corner. My neighbor watched me finish the whole shower in 20 minutes and asked if I was a pro. I am not, I just stopped fighting cheap tools. Has anyone else dropped cash on a specialty version of a basic tool and actually felt it was justified?

Did that thing have the different size nozzles too? Because once you get one that actually fits the tube right, it feels like cheating on every other caulk gun out there.
