A buddy told me my fuzz pedals were too noisy

I was proud of my first few fuzz builds, but a friend at a local jam said they just hummed too much. He pointed out my wiring was all over the place and I wasn't twisting the leads together. So I watched a few videos and started using shorter, twisted wires for the signal path. Next build had way less noise, and now I'm going back to redo my old ones. Anyone else get a simple tip that totally changed their build quality?

Power supplies matter a ton too... cheap ones dump noise right into your signal.

Honestly, twisting the signal wires made a night and day difference for me too. Also started paying more attention to grounding, like making sure all the grounds hit the same point instead of daisy chaining them everywhere. Huge noise drop after that.
