Cheap clamp light changed how I see my workbench after 10 PM
I kept squinting at my project details with the overhead garage light bouncing off every tool. Picked up a 12 dollar clamp lamp with a daylight bulb at the hardware store in Tacoma after my third failed solder joint. Clamped it right at the edge of the bench pointing down at a 45 degree angle, and the shadows just disappeared. Now I can see pcb traces and tiny screws without holding a flashlight in my mouth. Anybody else got a weird lighting hack that made a bigger difference than buying fancy gear?
