Shoutout to the $18 magnetic parts tray that saved my sanity
Spent $18 on a magnetic tray after losing the same tiny spring from a carburetor rebuild three times in one night on my garage floor. It stuck to the frame and held every little clip and screw while I worked, which kept me from crawling around at 1am like an idiot. What cheap tool ended up being way more useful than you expected?
Did you grab the one with the rubber coating on the bottom or just the plain magnet? Been eyeing one of those but figured the cheap ones slide around once you bump them. Also how strong is the magnet, like will it hold a whole socket set or just the tiny stuff?
