Two years of terrible registration until I saw a video of someone taping their screens
I was using repositionable spray adhesive and wondering why my colors never lined up on the third print. Saw a dude on Instagram just hinge-clamp both screens to a board and suddenly I felt like a complete idiot for all those misaligned Wolverine shirts I sold at the flea market last summer. Anyone else discover a basic setup trick way later than they should have?

Clamp both screens to a piece of plywood with some cheap spring clamps from the hardware store. Leave a half inch gap between the screens so you can slide your shirt in without messing up the registration. Also use a sharpie to draw registration marks on the wood where the screens sit so you can pop them back in the exact same spot if you move them. The spray adhesive trick never worked for me either, it just gummed up my screens after a few prints. Have you tried using registration tabs instead of tape?

Oh man, I actually read somewhere that some folks use a hinge setup instead of clamps, makes it way faster to flip between screens without losing your spot. Might be worth looking into if you're doing multi-color jobs regularly.
