Bought a $5 flower pot set, came home with a cracked saucer and a mess

I grabbed one of those ceramic flower pot sets from the Dollar Tree on Main Street last Tuesday, the kind with the little tray underneath. Turned out the saucer was cracked right down the middle, so when I watered my cactus, the whole thing leaked onto my windowsill and stained it brown. I could glue it, but is it worth the effort, or should I just paint over the crack and call it rustic? Has anyone else had this issue with their ceramics, or did I just get a bad batch from the back shelf?

Glue it, I did the same thing and it held up fine for years.
