Had a suction line clog on the old 'Mississippi Queen' near Baton Rouge last Tuesday. The pressure gauge went from 30 psi to zero in about ten seconds.

Yikes, that's a violent pressure drop. Wonder if it was a solid mass of river silt or something weird like a tangled ball of fishing line and hydrilla weed. That sudden zero makes me think it was a total blockage, not just a slow build-up.
