That fancy hydraulic pump I doubted changed my mind
Bought a used hydraulic pump off a guy in Baton Rouge for $900 back in March. Thought it was gonna be a hassle to retrofit onto my old Ellicott bucket ladder. Thing ran smoother than my old one from day one and saved me two days of downtime on a backwater cut. Anybody else had a cheap fix turn out way better than expected?

Nine hundred bucks for a used pump that actually worked perfectly? That's practically stealing it. Half the junk I see for sale at that price is ready for the scrap pile before you even get it off the truck. Count yourself lucky you didn't end up with a boat anchor instead.

Right, so @stella904, do you ever bother testing the stuff before you hand over cash?
