Sounds about right. Dredge pumps don't just get tired, they don't need a nap. Bet you found a worn impeller or a clogged suction line right? Half the flow in six months usually means somebody skipped the wear plate check. Or the screen got packed and nobody noticed till the numbers tanked. Classic case of the pump was fine, the maintenance wasn't.

Wait a 50% drop in six months is wild, was the suction line even pulling anything at that point or was it mostly mud? @jessew83 called the wear plate thing and honestly that's usually where I'd look first too.
