Appreciation post: the old paper tape and a corner bead that bit me last Tuesday
Was hanging a small bathroom ceiling job over on Foster Street last Tuesday and the corner bead kept popping loose on me because I rushed the mud and used too much water in the mix. Twenty years back we just used paper tape and a whole lot of patience, and honestly I think I got lazy leaning on the newer stuff. Any of you still keep a roll of the old paper tape in the truck for corners like that, or am I just stuck in my ways?
