Heard a guy on a job site say to use a wet sponge instead of sanding for final seams
I mean, I thought it was total nonsense for like a year, idk. Then this old timer in Tampa showed me on a small patch, and the finish was way smoother with zero dust. I tried it on a whole room last week and it cut my cleanup time in half. Has anyone else switched to this method for certain jobs?

That Tampa trick only works on hot mud.

Hot mud" makes it sound like some kind of secret construction recipe. How different can it really be from regular mud in the end? Seems like people are overcomplicating a simple thing.
