Stopped by the old hardware store in Tacoma and they don't even stock 3/8-inch rock anymore.
It's all lightweight 1/2-inch now, which got me thinking about how much easier the hanging is now versus the heavy stuff we used to haul up three flights of stairs back in the day, anyone else miss the old-school board sometimes?

Nah, @grant.jade, that new gear is all hype. Tried it once and the mounting hardware was pure junk. Felt cheap in my hands, like it would snap under any real weight. Total waste of money for what they charge. Stick with the old reliable brands, they actually last.
