I bought a $30 rice cooker on a whim and it changed my whole dinner game
It was just a basic model from the discount store, but now I can start rice and forget it while I cook the rest of the meal. Last night I threw in some chicken and frozen veggies with the rice, and it was all done in 20 minutes. I used to burn rice on the stove at least once a week, so this feels like a win. What other cheap kitchen gadgets have saved you time on busy nights?

Seriously though, what's your cutoff for a life hack then? Is it only stuff that uses a paperclip and duct tape? Because a tool that fixes a common problem perfectly every single time seems like the whole point.
