My partner said my 'easy' dinners were getting too complicated
He pointed out that I was using three pans and a cutting board for a simple pasta, which took over 30 minutes to clean. Now I focus on one-pan meals, like sheet pan sausage and peppers, and we're both way less stressed. Anyone have other good one-pan recipes that are truly fast?

Three pans for pasta seems pretty normal to me, not exactly a kitchen disaster. Some meals just need a few tools, and that's okay. Do we really need to stress over a couple extra dishes?

Totally get that, been there with the mountain of dishes. My go-to is a packet meal with chicken, broccoli, and potatoes all on one sheet pan, just toss it in oil and seasoning. A big skillet stir fry with pre-cut frozen veggies and shrimp is another lifesaver, cooks in like 10 minutes. Honestly, a one pot chili or soup is perfect too, you just dump cans and let it simmer.
