My partner said my 'easy' dinners were getting too complicated

He pointed out that I was using three pans and a cutting board for a simple pasta, which took over 30 minutes to clean. Now I focus on one-pan meals, like sheet pan sausage and peppers, and we're both way less stressed. Anyone have other good one-pan recipes that are truly fast?

Warning: I dropped $80 on a board game insert that was more trouble than it's worth

I got the fancy wooden insert for my copy of Gloomhaven, thinking it would save me setup time. In my experience, the pieces didn't fit right and the instructions were a mess. I spent over three hours just trying to get it together, and now the box won't even close all the way. Has anyone else had a bad time with a specific organizer brand?

I was on a job in downtown Nashville last month and saw a new kind of crane setup.

They were using a 450-ton crawler to set steel, but the whole pad was on these big plastic mats instead of timber. The foreman said they switched six months ago to cut down on ground damage and it's working. It got me thinking about how we all just use wood because that's how we were taught. Has anyone else made the switch to those plastic mats on a city job?
