My sister swore by a 15 minute pasta sauce but mine tasted like nothing
Honestly, she told me to just dump a can of crushed tomatoes with garlic powder and call it a night, so I tried it last Tuesday after work. Ngl, it was so bland my kid asked if we were having 'sad tomato soup' on spaghetti. What's a real quick sauce trick that actually has some flavor?

Garlic powder in a 15 minute sauce is where it all went wrong... that stuff has no soul. You gotta fry up at least two cloves of real garlic in some olive oil until it smells amazing. That one step changes everything. Then dump in your tomatoes and let it bubble for a bit. A huge pinch of salt and some red pepper flakes make it taste like something, fast.
