Changed my mind about spray foam after talking to an inspector

I was all in on spray foam for my garage in Edmonton, but a city inspector told me it can trap moisture against the roof decking if not done right. Now I'm going with rigid foam board and sealing the seams with tape instead. Anyone else have issues with spray foam in this climate?

The real hidden problem with spray foam in garages is it makes future wiring or venting a nightmare if you ever want to add stuff later, since it bonds to everything and is a pain to cut out cleanly.

Totally agree with @dixon.ryan, that stuff is brutal to work around once it's set.
