Finally bit the bullet and bought a $200 thermal camera for my phone. It just saved me three hours of guesswork on a dead power supply.

How much did you pay for it? I always thought they were a gimmick but that sounds actually useful.

The real cost is the subscription fees they get you with later. My friend bought one and now pays monthly just to use the basic features. Felt like a trap after the first year.
