Had a crazy good week fixing old turntables last month
Four straight days where every single job was just a simple belt swap or a dirty pot, no big soldering nightmares or broken tonearms. Anyone else ever get a run like that where the repair gods just smile on you for a few days?

Clean the speed selector switch while you're in there even if it seems fine. I learned that one the hard way after a "simple" belt job came back two weeks later with speed drift. Also grab some Deoxit and hit every RCA jack while you've got the bottom plate off. Saves you a second trip when the customer calls saying one channel is cutting out. Those easy weeks feel great but you gotta be smart about preventing the callbacks.
